Scandal in the Big Apple

Here is Scandal's Daughter with our lovely Bandita, Anna Sugden, aka Vrai Anna at the Barnes & Noble at the Lincoln Center in New York City.

Isn't she gorgeous? And the book's not bad either! Thanks for braving the security guard and for the 'face out fiddle', V-A! You're a champion!

Christine and Anna, what a great photo! And doesn't the book look fabulous? Would you believe when I stayed in NY, that was my local bookstore? Just a couple of blocks down from my hotel. Had a wonderful Sunday morning when I spent about four hours in there going through EVERYTHING! It's the best bookshop! So I know exactly where you took that picture! Can even smell it! There was a nice dusty papery smell about the shop. Christine, congratulations! You're taking over the world, one scandal at a time!

Thanks, Anna and Denise! As Anna C and I were discussing, the best thing really isn't the release of the book--the best thing is having wonderful friends hunting for it all over the States, cameras in hand. Thanks, Banditas. You're a great bunch!

Hi Chris, how wonderful to see photos of your book in the stores.

Big congratulations on your debut release. Always knew this day would come for you. I enjoyed reading the story even in its embryo form. :o)

Take care always,
Anne.~

Congrats Christine! I picked up the book yesterday but sorry - no pix of me in the bookstore!

Thanks, Kelly! You've already read most of it, but I hope you enjoy it the second time around!

Congratulations. I am new to your blog, but looking at the cover of the book, and then seeing your thrilled friend holding the book, makes me want to read it, without even knowing anything about it.

I cant wait to read the rest of your blog.

Oooh -love the picture! What fabulous tributes and how cool to see your friends with the book. (can't see Anna's shoes, though, but I'm sure they are rockin')
